Peter Damon-Cronmiller is an emerging composer and musicologist currently completing a Master of Music degree in Composition at the Royal Northern College of Music. He also holds a master's degree in Musicology from King's College, London, where distinction. His music has been performed throughout Europe and America by musicians such as the Manchester Contemporary Orchestra and performers at the Mostly Modern Festival. In 2026, his music will be read or performed by ensembles including the BBC Singers and the Mivos Quartet, and will be featured in the EMERGE New Music Concert and the Opera Lucca Composers Institute. His research interests center on how the study of early sound recordings, semiology, and Ancient Greek poetic topoi can intersect with New Complexity in the academic and creative treatments of these subjects.
